Glanmore National Historic Site Glanmore was declared a National Historic Site in 1971, largely due to its eye-catching architecture. The elaborate building contains the furniture and art that would grace an upper class home at the turn of the century. Other displays deal with the themes of a late 1800s general store and a pre-confederation homestead. Special events are scheduled regularly. Glanmore has seasonal hours and is closed on Mondays.
